One boy, One girl

We had another ultra sound yesterday... Can't believe we are half way there! We were able to see the "upstairs kid" this time as our Dr. puts it. :) Now I can start shopping and getting things ready! And maybe get more serious thinking about names. I will gladly take suggestions - we can't agree on anything. haha. :)

I can't get this song out of my head, it makes me tear up... It is so fitting for us right now in our life.

P.S. My music playlist is in honor of U2 and The Fray.... We are going to their concert with some very good friends next Tuesday! I couldn't be more excited. :)

"Babymoon" and Birthday in Vegas

Brett and I took a little road trip to Vegas over my birthday. We wanted to take a little trip before I got too uncomfortable and since I'm already almost half way with the twins, we thought we better go! It was so fun just to get away, have no agenda, relax, pool time, awesome food (Brett helped me shell my crab at a buffet since I said I was going to eat as much crab as I could!), and of course, hit the casinos. :) With all the eating out, I soon learned to always keep some tums in my purse and eat a few right before I ate out. I can't complain if pretty much the only symptom I have with pregnancy right now is heart burn!
The Wet Republic Pool at MGM Grand... amazing pools.
They had a lazy river and Brett was just like a kid going around in it... I have to say, it was pretty fun.
We also stayed at Green Valley Ranch (a resort a little off the strip, I highly recommend it!)

Cheesecake factory on my birthday. Me and my tai lettuce wraps. Brett calls it rabbit food, but they are soo yummy. :) Don't worry, I ate a piece of cheesecake that we got to go for breakfast the next morning.
We went to Cirque du Solei's "O" Show. Even Brett was impressed. Which is saying a lot!
Brett giving it a go for 11 million!
We went hotel hopping which was actually kinda fun. We also stayed a few nights at the Wynn. Our first 5 star hotel experience. We splruged and got the top floor, it was so nice!
The Grand Lux Cafe at the Venetian, owned by Cheesecake factory so need I say more?!

The Wynn pool. One of their pools had European Style sun bathing. haha...
Went golfing at Angel Park Golf Club. Pretty course, lots of fun. When we were getting ready to tee off, the lady in our four-some asked if I was playing the black or blue tees... (for those of you that don't golf, they are typically for experts or men). There is no way I would tee off with Brett right now! haha. I said well, probably the red, (the ladies tees) and she acted a little funny but then we ended up having a good round together.

A little poker...
Great Babymoon!
